Your day will begin with a scenic journey highlighting the rustic side of the South Coast of Jamaica with our first stop being at the Black River Safari. There you will get up close to crocodiles and other local wildlife on an open-air boat safari. No need to worry, they will not be upset by your visit. In fact, they appreciate you passing through.
Have you attained legal drinking age? Then let’s head over to the Appleton Rum Estate where you will learn about how the famous Jamaican rum is made. Discover the rum making process at the Appleton Estate and enjoy samples along the way, including cane juice and molasses. At the end of the tour, you will be served lunch where you will get to enjoy a Jamaican-styled prepared meal with our herbs and spices. The meal options are listed on the “More Information” tab.
Our last stop before heading back will be at the beautiful YS Falls which is one of Jamaica’s finest natural attractions! It is a nature-based attraction offering the opportunity to experience the beauty of the waterfalls surrounded by lush gardens and magnificent trees. There are seven waterfalls, several which cascade into natural pools. Some areas are fairly rocky and river shoes are recommended. A natural pool is also on property, fed by underground and above ground springs, which is more suitable for children and others unable to swim.
